Dual Bachelor's Master's Degree (DBMD)

The Dual Bachelor’s Master’s Degree (DBMD) program provides benefits to Temple University's international partner university students and alumni.

For those applying in their third year of undergraduate study, DBMD offers an accelerated 3+2 dual-degree program to earn your bachelor’s from your home university and your master’s degree from Temple.

For those applying in their fourth year of undergraduate study or even after graduation, DBMD still provides many of the benefits listed below.

DBMD offers you the opportunity to live abroad, develop your professional experience, expand your career network, acquire cross-cultural understanding, and improve your multilingual skills. Through DBMD, you will develop the necessary abilities to be competitive in today’s job market.

Additional benefits include:

scholarships of up to 20% of tuition,
early admission to master’s degree programs,
GRE waived for most majors,
personalized application assistance,
internship and career support, and,
social and professional events and activities.

Since 2008, the DBMD program has 250+ alumni living around the world. You will find them working locally and globally at organizations such as Meta (formerly Facebook), Google, JP Morgan Chase, Deloitte, Adidas, AstraZeneca, NBC Universal Studios, Lincoln Financial Group, IBM, among other Fortune-500 companies, innovative start-ups, and the public sector. Additionally, about 20% of DBMD graduates enter PhD programs.

How to Apply

Applications are open to third- and fourth-year undergraduate students and alumni of DBMD partner universities.

If you apply in your third year, you will need to submit a DBMD Study Plan listing the classes you need to take at Temple to complete your undergraduate requirements. If you apply without remaining undergraduate requirements, you do not need to submit a DBMD Study Plan.
